Ate two o of the foods Fukui is known for. The soba was good, I didn’t care for the pounded thin version of katsu and the very watery sauce that they serve it with. But had a fun weekend trip anyways.

Looks amazing! Never been to Fukui but there’s another thing they’re known for, and that’s making frames for glasses. Specifically in 鯖江市. I think almost all of the made in Japan glasses frames are made in Sabae, Fukui.
