I really really can’t speak enough good things about this establishment… You start out in a living room type setting, where you are presented with several amuse courses, before heading upstairs for the full meal.

Spectacular value for the money.
The Tom Kha salmon rolls were probably the biggest hit at the table.
Dry beef with green curry was a masterful dish, with incredible depth of flavor.

The evening was open with a glass of lemongrass/Panang leaf tea that blew me away.

Wine pairings here are almost flawless. If you’re primarily white drinker, this spot absolutely is calling your name.

I know there are other, more famous Michelin, restaurants in Copenhagen… But this one should absolutely be towards the top of the guide.

Kiin Kiin lost its star last year, but the dinner I had there in 2019 was a real highlight of a week-long Copenhagen trip that included the usual suspects. I would walk past Rene Redzepi to eat at Kiin Kiin again.

I think they lost their star which is a shame.

It was my favorite meal in Copenhagen by alot.

Yes, they lost their star. Probably didn’t help that they (among others) became the centre of attention in a Danish documentary about poor working conditions in the fine dining industry.
I had mixed feelings about the food experience, which I found very uneven. Had some great amuse-bouche and starters, but the main course was almost inedible. But nice with some variation from the French and New Nordic cuisine.

  5. The cashew-merengue is great and impressive that it has stayed on the menu for so long

I dont know If i went during a bad night but i had my least favorite fine dining experience there. The food was fine but the service was everything but smooth.
You start downstairs for the welcome snacks and Drinks. You sit fairly Close to the other Tables. They do a Lot of table Side Presentation, street sausage under a Bowl with smoke, Putting together a lettuce wrap, liquid nitrogen etc. They Mixed up tables multiple Times and brought Out the dish twice while telling exactly the Same Story. everything felt badly rehearsed like a school Play. They served one snack on baking paper. They had the cookbook all over the Restaurant. They entered a higher tip amount by accident, noticed it (i Overhead them) and didnt do anything to correct it. It was in 10-20usd range and i didnt feel like complaining and ruining my mood.

  7. Really enjoyed it when we went there in June. The decor, seat comfort could use an upgrade, but they are 1* level.
