Looks delicious. The sear looks rustic and authentic. Did you butterfly it yourself? I’ve only had the leg roasted or smoked, but it makes a good steak? Is it tender? Might have to try this.

I had been contemplating buying lamb this week and this just confirms I should follow my heart.

Lamb is so damn good, it’s always welcome.
I’m a fan of it on the grill coated in Dijon, salt and pepper. Learned that Dijon coating a while ago and just love the flavor it gives off a flame.

Based on past experience, any kind of meat is allowed.
Meat substitutes will make people here hate you.

Steak’s original meaning was not just beef. But a thick slice of meat. Pork steak, goat steak, lamb steak, ox steak, horse steak, kangaroo steak. Those were all things (some still are).

I bartered some elk round roasts for lamb, and I’ve had it in the freezer for ages cause I don’t know how I wanna cook it. What/how did you do it, looks incredible

It’s meat, it’s cooked, it’s fine.

I once posted duck in this, it got 2k upvotes in 8 hours and then got REMOVED 😭 be careful of the mods in here!
Fuck-MDD
How chewy was it? As someone who eats a lot of lamb, that fat really could have benefited from a long sous vide or reverse sear.
