I didn't expect it to be that hot, but this is ridiculous. I can't even taste the ghost and there's almost no heat. It tastes very similar to the basic Frito-Lay's salsa. Labeling this as "ghost pepper" should be a crime. Does anyone have any recommendations for good salsa that I can order online that actually packs a punch?

Have you tried Mrs. Renfeo’s Ghost Pepper salsa by chance? To be honest, it’s the only ghost pepper salsa I’ve tried but I find it’s a deliciously good lip burn for me personally

It’s just looks sugary from here. Get Mrs. Renfros

  3. Best salsa I’ve had so far is Mateo’s. Usually I go for the normal “Hot” which doesn’t have much bite, but they have an Extra Hot Habanero. Haven’t had it for a while but wanting to say it was pretty solid without being too much

Always a good idea check how close the peppers are to the beginning of the ingredients list. Just because it has ghost pepper doesn’t mean it has a lot of it!

Yes. This stuff is junk. About as bad as the pace ghost pepper salsa.

If you want real hot, I’d also recommend Mrs. Renfro’s. Just be careful. I ate way too much of it and it made me sick af, in my own self hatred I dumped the rest of it down the sink and the fumes were burning my eyes and nostrils.

I hate when that happens. I expect if you have ghost pepper, scorpion, or reaper on your label that the food is equivalent to the heat of said pepper not some washed out version of it.
