What are your thoughts on Mrs Wages packets for sweet relish rather than pickle slices?
What I'm wondering is
does it taste good?
Does changing the geometry of the cucumber from slices to relish impact safety?

I can’t answer you question about the safety change when using it for relish but I use that mix every year for slices and everyone loves the pickles.

I use that packet for slices and I also use the Mrs wages relish mix and make relish.

We made some Bread n Butter pickles with this mix last year, and frankly we didn’t care for them. I think it’s more to do with we don’t like cooked pickles. So we just make refrigerator pickles.
