People are die hard Culver’s fans and I think it’s good but I’d still rather have a QPC deluxe

That’s the saddest looking Culver’s meal I’ve ever seen. Fries are blonde, bacon looks flabby and underdone, cheese not melted, burger likely not seasoned at all.

I’m a Culver’s guy, but I dig on all burgers.

    If it’s a ham, and it’s a burger, I’m-a-Groovy! (Like Mario 😉

QPC is lit too though. But I’ll eat em all. YOLO my pack and keep rocking with the burgers. 🤙

For me, what matters is, thst it tastes good. This looks like it tastes good.

    Most burgers are imo.

Every time somebody hyped up a burger, I got there and am disappointed. Every time I find a hype-worthy burgers, sooner or later, it’ll fall off in quality. It’s quite sad. I might as well make my own in a cast iron.

This looks like a single burger. If you’re used to a QPC, then next time order the bacon deluxe DOUBLE. It’s about a quarter pound burger. I feel like the single patties’ flavor gets lost in all that bun.

Here’s an insider tip: best burgers I’ve ever had from Culvers is when they open at 10:30 am. For whatever reason, my local can’t handle a rush and they get sloppy. If I come at open, I’m almost guaranteed a killer double deluxe. You got a bad meal, OP.

They just don’t have the consistency of a great chain. They’re a safe bet but location makes a difference – and don’t go late at night. I’ve been served Wendy’s tier burgers from them after 10pm.

But when theyre done right they’re hard to top from a chain. Particularly in the Midwest.

Whoever made that should be fired. The cheese isn’t even melted.

I’ve eaten at Culver’s pribably 10 times now, and I always try to get something different so that I can maybe capture some of that ‘magic’ everyone is talking about. I have tried almost every single sandwich they serve. My consensus? Definitely overrated.

    Go eat your QPC then.

I just had a Culver’s double deluxe with bacon the other night and it was better than anything I’ve ever had at McDonald’s.

    But hey, you enjoy.

Most things are overhyped. If high standards were the norm, they wouldn’t be called “high standards.”

  12. are those fries even cooked? where is the golden brown?

  13. mc D ? qpc ? its mid at best , i dont hate it but eat a burger with some flavor , double BBdeluxe all day

burger king fell too, it has been horrible the last 10 times I tried to eat it .

even the best local places cant compare

Get the cheese curds instead of fries. Culver’s was started by a dairy inspector. His whole career was based around finding the best dairy, hence “butter burger.”

I would have taken this opinion as completely understandable and reasonable, despite my disagreeing. However…you’d rather have fuckin MCDONALDS?? Wack.

  16. weak bait post, but seems to have caught most the commenters….

  17. PsychologicalFood780

If you prefer McD’s over Culver’s, there’s something seriously wrong with your taste buds. Order a double bacon deluxe, cheese curds and a concrete mixer.

  18. I agree it’s overhyped, but McDonalds? Cmon man, you’re losing credibility

Years ago they were awesome. Was a special treat to get to go there. Then they went corporate and started opening all these chain restaurants. It doesn’t taste anything like it used to. They need to go back to their roots.

  20. If it’s not a double with cheddar, with cheese curds, it doesn’t count. This is a sad single with American cheese, the definition of boring.

  21. LurkeyCat

The best way to have a Culver’s burger is a dry cheese burger, no condiments. Skip bacon. A double if that’s your style. Burger perfection.

  22. Totally-jag2598

Saw the hype about Culver’s here. We don’t have them on the West coast. So had to try them when I was back East. They’re meh. Nothing special about them. They taste fine. The desserts are good though. Slightly better than McDonalds.

I’d much rather have In-n-Out, or Shake Shack. Supper Dupper (maybe local to the bay area). Much better burger and fries.

  23. Dear_Pie_165

I can understand not liking Culvers, but to prefer fucking McDonald’s over this. FOH!

  24. TechnoBear0

Weird to think of a burger chain that’s been around since 1984 as being “overhyped.”

I mean… it’s just Culver’s. I guess it is a midwest thing so perhaps it’s still unknown in many places.
