I did some ghost pepper tequila last season, fucking delicious but not booty friendly the next day. Makes an amazing Oaxacan old fashioned though. Gonna make some reaper liqueur with canna sugar this year. Please report back on how it tastes.

You made a tincture but say that the flavor is missing and is just hot for the sake of being hot. Consider instead creating an oleo saccharum instead. I’ve done it with habaneros to make an insanely spicy sugary mixer and it had both heavy heat and incredibly fruity flavor. Made a fantastic mixer.

4 months ago i pickled habaneros in chesp rye whiskey so i could make hot sauce with them.
Today now that i no longer have habaneros i took a swig and regretted it
