Everyone hates this dude and Huy Fong on this subreddit, but I still fuck w/ it fr lol

  2. bottledlovestory

Meh. He *did* budge on taste though. Stuff tastes like garbage now ETA people who still love sriracha please DNI, my comment is not for you 😘

  3. Ddvmeteorist128

I still find use for that sauce in my breaded chicken cutlet sandwiches

  4. Debtcollector1408

It’s not that hot though. Though I do like the funk to it.

  5. xneurianx

    “We don’t make mayonnaise here”.

    Yes you do.

  6. watermelonmangoberry

Ironic given that he changed the sauce to make it less spicy lol

There is a green style made by sky valley that absolutely hits. But definitely more cilantro/south of the border style. It’s banging stuff though. I also miss that o.g. Sriracha.

And at least he said no to watering down his shut. Basically says if they only buy one bottle a year he doesn’t care…which is uncommon in any business owner

I love this guy, I use his hot sauce daily on my eggs.

Just opened my last bottle of pre-Underwood-divorce Sriracha. The fruitiness might be a bit dulled over the storage time but it is still great overall.

  11. SpicySuntzu

Huh? Sriracha is what I go for when I want something on the mild side, but with good flavor.

Please support Underwood Family Farms by purchasing their products. Thank you! 🙏

I wonder if he’s tried sriracha mayo. Stuff is incredible.

Tabasco has a higher Scoville rating.

    * Tabasco Pepper Sauce: 2,500–5,000 SHU, the original flagship variety

    * Huy Fong Foods Sriracha: 2,200–2,500 SHU

Too bad that the original sriracha was removed from my country. It got removed because of some ingredient that isn’t allowed in hot and spiced sauces in here. Maybe there is a way I could order it but it can be experience. What’s the best alternative that’s closest to the original?

  16. Capt__Murphy

Sriracha is a hot sauce? I thought it was a sweetener/sugary condiment

  17. MorrighanAnCailleach

Is the Underwood Ranch thing why it’s no longer as spicy?

  18. John_East

Even before I upped my tolerance from just using Louisiana style sauces, sriracha had zero spice to it lol

  19. adultdaycare81

Didn’t he turn it over to his Son in law?

Feels exactly like a “Family + Private Equity messed it up”

  20. sarahkali

That is the face of a man who doesn’t fuck around

  21. Chilimancer

Lmfao. Dude makes the worst sriracha on the market now that he budged on quality.

  22. Conch-Republic

Lol they basically had to double the sugar content to tamp down heat caused by buying drought stressed Mexican jalapeños, and now their sauce is so tame you could give it to a baby.

  23. Except he did budge and fired his long-time supplier of peppers and essentially ruined his product.

  24. Palanki96

When they mean “founder” they mean the chicken one? Rooster? Forgot the name

  25. Hashtag-waffle

I love how everyone talks about the pepper thing like it was yesterday when it was really like over a decade ago. Sauce tastes the exact same as it always has imo.

  26. What kind of spicebabby thinks sriracha is too spicy

  27. burnbothends91

More like he only budges on taste when his suppliers ask for more money.
