What unique ways are you using peach syrup leftover from hot packing?
I love putting the leftover peach syrup on pancakes as a substitute for naple syrup. What other ways can I use all of this gorgeous golden liquid up?
Posted a pic of my canning supervisor making the same "yum!" face I make. Lol

If you are a cocktail drinker it’d be great in some mixed drinks!

Peach bourbon smash!
If you like bourbon and mint, and summer, and happiness, you should try it. Play around with the peach syrup quantities. If you happen to have fresh peaches they are nice to mash up in there (really what makes it a smash), but if not you can just play around with the recipe.
– A few macerated peach slices – 3 to 4 fresh mint leaves – Ice – 2 tablespoons (1 ounce) syrup from peaches – 3 tablespoons (1 1/2 ounces) bourbon – Splash of chilled seltzer or ginger beer

I have a bunch of blueberry syrup leftover from hot packing. I have been putting it in club soda all week as a fun flavored fizzy drink. It’s so good!

Freeze it in half cup measure and use it in baking! Particularly good in corn bread.

I like to make most of my leftover syrups into lemonade. There’s usually enough sugar just add lemon juice to taste while it’s still hot. Also goes great with a sparkling water either before or after the lemon juice is added.

End of summer peach margaritas! Or if you’re not into cocktails, it would be great drizzled over pancakes or ice cream.
