  3. Oh, cool. They picked a folding knife, you don’t see that at a dinner setting often. I bet they scrub the inside of that knife after every meal and oil the hinge too. No rust in those layers.

    I can’t imagine the sound/feel of that knife scraping on that slate. Would definitely put me off my food.

    Has chef ever tried to eat these brats off a slate? With the knife scraping and juice running over?

    Slate is so common in restaurants in here. A lot of mid to high end restaurants use it.

    It’s common in steak house here too. I think it’s fine.

  7. I can feel the knife scraping across that slate just from looking at that picture. Pain in my teethe like from nails on a chalkboard.
