I’ve been looking for a good ramen place near me but I can’t really find a good one so I made my own! This is a tantanmen with whatever toppings I can find in the fridge 😅
If you have any advice on how to make it look better or a secret tip on ramen making, what advice would you give?
Thank you 💙

Raw bok choy… yum…
Looks like udon noodles, which aren’t ramen.
Way too many toppings.
Looks great! Next time I would change your broth/noodle/topping ratio. Ramen should have more soup so that it covers all the ingredients. When toppings are piled high like that without enough broth, you’re going to struggle to dig through the pile to get bites of the noodles, toppings and soup together. Also, using real ramen noodles helps because they’re a better vehicle for the broth. Otherwise great job 👍🏻
So cute!! But how does the egg yolk look scrambled 😵💫
Aw, bud. No.
Jeez tough crowd, acting like they are being made to eat what you cooked for yourself. Even if you went off roading, all looks good to me if it was tasty. 😊 You have plenty of opportunities to try other methods and tweaks to the dish.
Edit: just realized you asked for advice. Make sure you rinse Japanese or other East Asian style noodles under cold water in a sieve to remove extra starch and to make the noodles bouncy!
