We’re 74 today in the Santa Maria Valley and 50% veraison in PN. Going to be another long cool vintage. (Although the heat spike usually hits Labor Day.)

I’m in sonoma area, working with a majority Russian river fruit. We have some Chardonnay coming in this week. Some Pinots looking like they will be in next week. Harvest time is coming!! Long hours here I come! This year we actually all get a day off in the week, so I’m excited

Back when I was an intern at CCWS in Santa Maria, just about everyone in the facility came out to watch the first trucks dump their grapes like this. Awesome sight to watch.
