Finally got a bottle without paying $12. Tastes the way I remember it… maybe a bit sweeter and less spicy. Still the best sriracha I know of
I must've started using it after the initial boom. Still tastes great, but my spice tolerance is waaay higher now

The new stuff is ass, I don’t even bother with Huy Fong, sounds like you got the new stuff.

Got some flying goose extra garlic sriracha when there was no huy fong, and I don’t know if I’ll look back. It’s not very spicy but I love how garlicky it is

At $29 a gallon delivered on Amazon there is no way in hell I’m buying any other sriracha but HF Sriracha. Those prices change regularly. I have paid as little as $25 a gallon and as much as $33 a gallon. And every one that I’ve received whether it was in a gallon, 17 oz bottle or that big 28 oz thing they were as red, looks & tastes just like it always has.

So many better brands than this terribly managed company

At $29 a gallon (and on Amazon nonetheless) you did not buy the original HF sriracha. There are so many better similar tasting sauces now. If you don’t want to try them, that’s on you. It’s a sad lost cause tho

Likewise when I finally got mine I still prefered it over all the others I tried.

The best! This isn’t the spiciest but it’s what got me into spicy food in the first place and it still makes everything delicious. I hate buffalo sauce and this is actually my favorite to put on wings

There are so many better options at this point

This with some plan ham or turkey cold cuts was one of my guilty late night child hood and adulthood now snacks. Shit slaps

I’m glad I’ve never really been a sriracha person. I always felt it was too sweet. I do like the Sambal or garlic chili from them.

Sriracha has a slightly addictive quality. Sooo tasty.

Best thing to happen to me was when it was out of stock everywhere and i had to try new brands. Found a few that i liked better.

After Huy Fongs bullshit with refusing to pay and causing the shortage, I switched to Flying Goose. So so so much better

It’s wild how hot sauce folks got their panties in such a bunch over the HF controversy. It’s still good, and even at elevated prices, is better than *most* alternatives. Yes this has been a disappointing year for the peppers, but it is still fine. Flying Goose is good too, but even with the bad harvest, I would not say it’s better.

Where did you get cock sauce that looks like that? All the stores near me have the weird discolored sauce that tastes funny. I miss the OG huy fong, but Underwood’s is far better than the current stuff they’re putting out
brennanf
I finally tried the Underwood Ranches sriracha, I think it’s pretty good. Was about $8 at Costco for a 2 pack of 17 oz bottles. Probably not a popular opinion, but I think my favorite is the Tabasco sriracha, I like the thickness and the garlic flavor.

I recently tried Underwood Ranch Srirarcha (that’s the farm that had to sue Huy Fong for breach of contract). It’s got that oldschool Sriracha heat. I recommend it.
It doesn’t quite have that Huy Fong Sriracha funk but it’s the best substitute I have ever found yet and I’ve tried a bunch of them.
