Actually I’m calling it—pizza matta’s tavern style pizza is the best in town. It’s definitely fancier with really good ingredients, amazing buttery and crisp crust and awesome caramelized cheese edges. About $30/pizza which I guess is the going rate these days.

Pepperoni and sausage is great but the sleeper hit was the pistachio pesto base with sausage. It’s similar to the forno rosso version / flavor profile but on a crispy tavern crunch.
