This place in Denver, Taco River on federal, has the most insane green sauce. (Their breakfast burritos are amazing as well, I order so many of them… It's a problem).

Back to the sauce, it's creamy and thin, tangy, bright and full of flavor. It's a back of the throat spice with a little nose tingle. It's maybe got jalapeno but possibly pickled? I can't put my finger on it but it's almost like what horseradish does. It's different than any other place's green sauce that I've tried.

I'd really love to know how to make it if anyone has any advice or a recipe 🙂

look up cilantro lime crema recipes…there’s a few breakfast burrito joints in LA that serve this type of salsa

  2. It’s blended Rajas con Crema. The heady kick is most likely from grated radish, aka rabano picante

Cilantro lime crema. You can find a bunch at Costco 🤤

A place near me has a sauce that sounds like that description. They told me it was pickled jalapeños and crema. I tried it at home by blending Mexican crema with pickled jalapeños and it as just as good. If I hadn’t had crema I would have tried it with sour cream thinned, if necessary, to get the right consistency. Try asking them. They may at least tell you the ingredients so you can experiment. I definitely will make it again it’s so easy and delicious!
