Used the Aldi’s keto bread, lean roast beef, melted a slice of provolone over it, with some lite mayo and horseradish, tomato, lettuce and onion. Damn great lunch.

Looks good… assuming you figured it, how did the macros look?

  2. I cannot stand that particular aldi keto bread but I don’t mind the seeded one.

I can’t help but doubt that only has 300 calories

anything can just be 300 calories if u make the portions tiny.

i have to eat 5 of those to be full.

Eighty-six the bread and make it a lettuce wrap and then you really have a great tasty and diet sandwich. Bread is an absolute killer when it comes to dieting. I grew up with bread every meal but burned it as quick as I ate it. Now I really watch everything I eat or it lay on my stomach. Nice looking sandwich.

Sandwiches are a mainstay in my life and I can go open face lower carb, higher protein. I can go full on sub w/ oil and vinegar dressing. It doesn’t much matter you make it what you want it to be but I will tell you cold roast beef for me with mustard, lettuce and tomato salt and pepper I’m so there

Anything can be diet food if you want it to be

  9. I didn’t believe it until I put it into a tracker, but yeah about 350 calories or so. But tbh I’d need a second one haha.

How’s that keto bread? Been thinking about giving it a shot

  11. Aldi keto bread: A 28-gram slice of this wheat bread has 45 calories. However, since it also has 9 grams of dietary fiber, some people subtract the fiber from the carbs to get 0 grams of net carbs.
●2 slices of keto bread: 90 cal
Or 0 cal if you subtract the fiber.

●3 oz of lean roast beef: 150 cal

●1 slice of provolone: 98 cal

One tablespoon of light mayonnaise can contain between 35 and 50 calories.
    ●Lite mayo: 50 cal

●1 teaspoon of horseradish: 28 cal

●1 cup of shredded lettuce: 5 cal

●1 whole red onion: 60 cal so, maybe 10 cal in this sandwich

●Thick 1/2 inch slice of tomato: 5 cal

    -Final estimation-
    Counting bread cal: 436 cal
    Not counting bread 346 cal
