Would I get laughed at by "salsa snobs" for serving this over a traditional tortilla chip? Asking for a friend.

    For me the salsa or dip should be the main attraction. Fritos & other thick corn chips steal the spotlight and don’t taste good enough to be doing all that.

    These are better than Fritos for frito pie. They suck for salsa.

    Any kind of dipper chip is terrible because they don’t break apart in your mouth easily. I have never once dipped a regular everyday tortilla chip in salsa and thought “this chip should actually be 3 times thicker and a bowl”

  5. Amazing for dip.  Less amazing for just salsa.  But it’ll do in a pinch, I’ll make it work!
