Love this cafe but they serve everything on tiny, narrow wooden cutting boards. It’s impossible to eat an almond croissant without getting crumbs everywhere…

As a person with a nut allergy I’ve never thought about how scary wooden planks as plates are. There is no chance in hell they are able to clean a porous surface like this enough to prevent cross contamination. This is both icky and dangerous.

I’d rather they grab it with a large napkin and just give me that..

This would warrant a google review from me. That’s so gross.

Kind of looks like the cheese log my mom used to make

If you care about this cafe tell them.

I wonder what these types of places would do if you took your own plate in there and just transferred everything to an actual plate when it was served.

Just shove it in your mouth and worry it like a dog. Rain almond slivers down on everyone. That’ll teach em.

At least you’re not the one cleaning it up. If they want to make more work for themselves, let them.

That croissant looks like the cake that the girl in hereditary ate… or a cool rock.
