I was quite happy with this one!

I used almost 200 grams (not quite a half pounder at 0.44 pounds) per patty, still have one in the freezer.

Brioche buns are homemade too.

That beef isn’t wagyu. And not even close.

That burger patty is picture perfect. I personally prefer a bit more sear but nonetheless, that’s one delicious looking burger my friend.

    Burger looks good

You should know that unless that is some kind of Australian Wagyu, or an American hybrid, you did not get Wagyu. Even then, the complete relative lack of fat suggests that even if this was a wagyu offshoot, they miserably failed in the product they were attempting to make

The fat content in Wagyu is like 50 percent. If you ate a burger that size made out of wagyu, you would have the s**ts for weeks.

If you Google a picture of Wagyu, you will very quickly see that you did not have wagyu

Not trying to be a dick. The burger looks good, I’m sure it tasted good! but somebody either mislabeled that meat or straight up lied to you

Really wagyu is useless in a burger because of its over saturation of marbling. The patties don’t stay together and you’d end up with a jar full of grease by the time you were done

  7. All wagyu means is a cross of Japanese and European cattle for those that don’t know. There can be many different cuts and fat content of wagyu just because you didn’t get A5 ribeye that is completely marbled does not mean this isn’t wagyu.
