Quite disappointed, is it a chain that works well and is appreciated in the US?
There are only 5 in my country, their development is extremely slow compared to other fast food chains,
I was able to taste it only because I was passing through one of the rare towns that has had one since 2018

I’m guessing you’re in Australia like myself, had it once was okay but it tasted like a copy and paste of hungry jacks

I’m in the US and it’s my favorite burger in the *uber* fast food category as I call it.
They aren’t in the same category as 5 guys, Culver’s, or In N Out because they have more locations than all of them put together. They are trying to be the Wendy’s, BK, McDonald’s, category but just aren’t as successful. The one near me closed.
There are just better options closer. Local places, Culver’s, etc. So I didn’t and don’t really go there.

I’d rather to have burger king…

That looks miserable my dude, and not like anything else I’ve seen them serve.

Super expensive mediocre food. I got a double bacon western meal a few months ago and it cost $19 US. The burger looked just like this monstrosity with one extra patty. No thanks I’ll go to the grocery store for my meals.
SuperChimpMan
It was good but they hugely over extended themselves and lost quality like subway

I havent been to a Carl’s Jr. in well over a decade, but one of my guilty pleasures was the Big Carl. So greasy you had to poop before you even finished eating it, and that feeling of shame and regret afterward, but damn did that burger taste good.

There are no Carl’s in my state, but I unfortunately have to say that this looks like a sad burger.
Onion rings look soggy and horrible
gnardog45
Pretty sad, frozen beef patty with frozen onion rings.

No thanks.. Carl’s/Hardee’s is the nastiest burger I’ve ever tried.. Thought it may have been location, so I was dumb enough to go more than once while traveling.. Never again..

Double famous star is the perfect burger. Nice and shloppy.

That burger in the picture looks terrible.
Having said that, Carl’s Jr is very good. I don’t know what happened with the burger in the OP, but Carl’s Jr is normally very good.

They are called Hardee’s out here, but yeah, those Thick burgers are the shit.

I used to fuck with the 6 dollar burgers a lot back in the day. Or double westerns with waffle fries

Big Carl is 🔥 and the old Ranch Bacon Cheeseburger that they used to make for $0.99. Good ol days

That’s a very uninspiring burger.

Yeah, same here. I saw a Carl’s Jr. during my summer vacation in the south of France. I had to try it as we don’t have Carl’s Jr. here in Germany. I was surprised how much it reminded me of Burger King (but with better quality). The buns, the chargrilled patties and also the sauces are almost the same as BK.

Back when they were running those “if it doesn’t get all over the place, it doesn’t belong in your face” commercials, they had decent burgers at a good price. The Carl’s across from my high school had 99¢ famous stars for a long time.
