My girlfriend and I went to Spilt Milk to try their Family Meal Monday promotion. They've been doing it wv every Monday since memorial day but due to a combination of me traveling and the restaurants being uninteresting/places I've already been I didn't get around to going until now.
This week the featured restaurant was Andros Taverna. I've not been to the actual restaurant so I can't speak to how it reflects their menu because this burger isn't on it, it appears to be a custom item for the pop up.
The burger was decent, well cooked but a bit small and didn't stand out for any particular reason. My chips were fine but hers were seriously undercooked. The "beverage pairing" is just a beer of vodka sour, I was hoping it was tailored to the meal, as I thought "pairing" implied.
The food came quick and was made fresh, but for $25 a small burger, a platry amount of chips and not even a full pour of the beer didn't feel like a great value. It seems like the food probably varies widely depending on the who's catering so I don't want to say it's always disappointing but I'd give it a 4/10
