Been making espresso at home for 20 years and all I can do is a heart.
Yes I know my wand is dirty, I take the pic before I clean it so the foam still looks shiny and hasn’t settled. I tried a Rosetta once and it came out looking like a micropenis.

Good job! I can’t even do a heart. I never really bothered with doing latte art.
Tulip at around the 24 minute mark, Rosetta at 26, but the whole thing is worth watching
…and your art is way better than mine BTW

I can’t even pour a stick figure…

There are a lot of factors coming into play with steamed milk.
Over the years and after trying many frothers and wands, I came to understand that you need to be very consistent and also understand how each affects your milk structure.
Most baristas know exactly how much milk to use for steaming, how much to swirl it before pouring, how much their specific milk separates and then how each part of the steamed milk is going to form the layers of the latte.
A tad too much foam or a tad too less, a bit less than silky, a bit too little aeration and the latte art is going to suffer.
Congrats for the heart, I don’t even bother pouring anything better and I barely got two hears. I’d rather save the milk and always froth exactly how much I’m going to drink.

I make an outstanding amorphous blob. Just like a snowflake no two are the same
Ew, that wand.
Pity – too literal for my taste. I hope one day you shall reach great levels of abstract art like this:

All my practice and every heart I do comes out looking like a 🍆 🤣 so you’re doing better than me!
My first cup I did a heart. Ever since then all I can make are flowers. No idea why.
