Well I don’t know for sure, but having been to LA, Seattle, based in San Diego/OC; the density of amazing coffee roasters in a city was overwhelming. Heart’s shot of Danche literally smelled like peach and cotton candy. Proud Mary’s pour over choices were impressive. But equally important was how nice and friendly all the baristas were at each shop. Miss it already. Anyone else have thoughts?

Coava beans are the best beans. That kilenso is so fucking good

Pound for pound (fine, per capita), Portland could have the best coffee, beer, wine, food and nature/scenery in the whole country.

Those are all the shops I picked up beans from when I was there. Stopped by Puff as well which is Dwayne from Stumptown’s brand.

  4. Have you been anywhere other than the west coast?

Sisters coffee is also phenomenal, and SuperJoy Roasters is a relatively hidden absolute gem. Brilliant coffee scene, gives Sydney a run for its money.
