Don't let your bread cool on the counter and walk away for 10 minutes without keeping an eye on your dog. My dog ate this whole loaf. I hadn't even cut it. I was so excited this was the best looking one ive had. I'm trying not to cry. 36 hours of work gone.

Man that sucks for you and your dog because their mouth is probably all burned up.
This is why I train my dogs from babies that the kitchen is off limits. RIP loaf.

Gosh I remember my dog doing this with a loaf of my family’s Easter bread which has raisins in it. A snack pack of raisins can cause kidney failure in dogs. That’s how many are in a single loaf. The vet said to make her throw up, I had to force feed her peroxide. I was happy it worked, but upset she ate it because we only make it once a year
