God bless Kroger. Sometimes they really get good cuts.

  1. While those look amazing, for Kroger, that price is a crime. That’s local butcher pricing.

Those are very nice looking, but that price has me curious as to where you are located and if those prices are in US dollars, which I assume they are since I don’t think Kroger stretches beyond the boarder

Unfortunately I’m in Kroger almost daily and I’ve never seen anything in the window above $23.99
    Butcher might be skimming lol.

No way I’m paying $40 a pound for a strip steak.

I get my steaks almost exclusively from Kroger’s. The discounts you get on steaks are almost criminal.

39.99/lb what a deal, I’ll be going to my fancy butcher before paying that at shit Kroger

I mean I imagine they at least purchase whole cows worth at some level. I grew up raising chickens in Southern California and we used to sell to a grocery chain processor to the tune of about a thousand chickens a week.

Considering they own most grocery stores it’s kinda hard not to get good cuts.

My Kroger butcher doesn’t even know what cut I’m asking for. I have to point to the different cuts.

God bless $40 a pound? I would hate to see what is a bad deal for you.

Wtf whole tenderloin 49.99?!?!? I’m in Australia
    49.99 ÷ .67c (conversion rate atm)
    74.99 a lbs
    74.99 x 2.2lbs per kilo
164$ a kilo. Wtf. I just left my local butcher. Paid .99c aus for 2.2lbs of chicken wings and tenderloin vac sealed Australian grass fed for $21 a kilo

You are getting ripped beyond belief
