Ill-timed, but I’m very excited to say I just sprouted my first vegetable seeds ever.

About six weeks ago I put in two 6’x3’x2’ beds with covers, filled them up and some sprinkler lines run.
It felt reckless and poorly planned but I pushed forward.
I sowed romaine, butter lettuce, spinach and broccoli.
After two weeks nothing happened. I worried it was because the covers for the beds weren’t allowing any circulation. After now 3-4 weeks with the covers open, and actually less watering, I’m seeing the romaine and butter lettuce sprout. My guess it was actually just too hot.
Will I harvest anything edible? Who knows.
Am I over the moon about these little sprouts? You better believe I am.
