I like it when it all comes together. It starts from the moment you make the dough. It goes all the way to you put all the ingredients together. You worked hard to get to where you've you are. All the quality ingredients. After you pull it out of the oven and you just know.
Hand-sliced pepperoni, Italian sausage, baby bella mushrooms, (my own) tomato sauce, fresh grated Parmesan, fresh shredded low moisture whole milk mozzarella and provolone. Topped with fresh grated Romano!

Eating them
The reward !
I actually enjoy the smell of dough on my fingers. And also working the dough by hand and just knowing it’s been kneaded correctly. It feels nice.
Seeing others enjoy it. (even though its easy and basic, but quality)
that i didn’t get shorted on those toppings again at 3.99 each
Stretching
Great question. I like getting my station all set up, prepping all my ingredients for each pizza. I like coming up with the menu, trying different toppings to see what works and what I’ll only try once. Until recently I did not like stretching and shaping my dough, but the last couple times I’ve made pizza I’ve started to feel more comfortable with this step. Progress! And the people in this sub: all that you share is totally inspiring to me.
Everyone likes pizza, so cooking pizza for my family and friends and making them happy is probably top of the list.
Looks delicious 😋
The process, I like the ritual of it. Like rolling a perfect joint or taking the time to grill with charcoal.
Did you make that pizza in a home oven? Looks amazing
Beautiful photos!
Making better pizza than I can buy in 90% of places near me…
Yes I can buy excellent pizza if I travel 40+ min each way and pay $80-100 out the door for a dinner for 2 with a couple of drinks and a salad (but no leftovers)… But I prefer making pizza of similar quality in my kitchen, mix drinks or open a bottle of nice wine or get a pack of craft beer, all that for a fraction of the cost, and get higher satisfaction (and have leftovers and eat pizza at least more times in the following days).
Checking to see if the last bite is as good as the first.
Not having to tip the delivery guy
Making whatEVERA the hell you want. Pep and mushers, bbq bacon cheeseburger, chicken spinach feta and tomato, buffalo chicken, you name it!
Pizza making is an arts and crafts project I can eat! And even if it doesn’t turn out the way I hoped, I can still enjoy the results 99% of the time (or share with my friends and family)
Nice pie
I really enjoy seeing the improvements that I’ve made over the years. The smell of the sauce and seeing the little orange oil bubbles forming at the top.
The alchemy of the bread rising and the SIZZLING cheese out of a proper pizza oven.
Admiring it as it comes out of the oven all golden brown delicious (with a nice smattering of charred spots) and the smell. To me, nothing beats the smell of freshly baked pizza.
Giving people pizza

Getting it in my belly!

i like it soft and tasty! 😊
Do you deliver?
I love the look on my friends and families faces when they actually enjoy the pizza. Not just to say not bad or fake enjoy it . You see them really get into it . The work you put into it makes them feel good. The honest remarks are awesome.
