I must have gone on a bad day because I got the regular slice and it came out lukewarm with the cheese / basil 90% missing (guy doing it wasn’t paying attention and missed the plate)

Ehhhh, the pizza there isn’t amazing

Probably in the minority but OP I agree with you. I liked the sauce at Lucia more than L’industrie. Feel like Lucia is underrated given how much hype L’industrie has

Lucia of Soho was the best I had too. Personal preference sure, but I thought it was incredible.

The spinach pesto slice is so good and all the guys are the homies. Line can get insane though!
supericakr
it is my top 5 slice shop for sure

Just don’t throw the pizza boxes in the Canal Street gutter like so many thoughtless douchebags do. The pizza looks decent though they both look like they’ve been sitting around for a while.

I really enjoy their pizza. I’ve tried it 2x now. One time I got a plain slice and another the sausage. Both times it was very good.

How is their brooklyn location?

You can trust any pizzeria in NYC named Lucia, there are a few that aren’t affiliated and they’re still very good
lilfutnug
Probably tied with Mama’s Too for top slice in the city presently.

Lucia and LTD are probably the best right now.
worldhardylafayette
this is just an incorrect take. Lucia has insipid, bland sauce and cardboard flavored crust. The best (slice shop) pizza in manhattan has to be either NY Pizza Suprema or Bleecker Street.

I was really underwhelmed. Tasted like salt and grease. No flavor.

After all these years, none of these new slice shops touch Joe’s.
CoochieSnotSlurper
Shhhhh. I like it because it never has lines
Cartadimusica
More in line to a new York style pizza.

Avenue X Lucia is where it all began. Shout-out to P.leone, he’s the goat since his Bossa Nova days!

Yep. Super good choice.
