I ordered the Cristom, and got sent an Elk Cove… should I be mad or happy with the replacement?
And additionally, I wonder how I could phase it so I get to keep both if they’re send the correct one👀

Two widely different styles from Willamette, however if the pictures are correct and you received a Clay Court single vineyard instead of the Jefferson Cuvee- then you came out ahead. Roughly a $20-30 USD price difference between the two.
Both of them are excellent growers/producers utilizing their estate grown fruit.

Do you like riper/more fruit weight in your Pinot Noir? I always see Elk Cove having more confected red fruits. Cristom use more whole bunch, tend to pick a little earlier and have more savoury spice.
