i’ve got one very similar and i love it ! One tip i have for you, buy 3rd party replacement water filters from amazon rather than the ones from sage themselves, you get 4 for the price of one

  2. I unpacked my barista pro (my first too) an hour ago! happy first! 🤝🤝

Buy a coffee scale, WDT tool, and a self-levelling tamper and things will be much much easier. Dark roast – 18g in 36 out, medium – 18g/45g, light – 18g/54g…some rules of thumb that helped me in the beginning.

    Congratulations! Couple of bonus tips:

You can adjust the burs to grind finer/coarser by taking off the hopper and adjusting it from there. Ours needer to get a little bit finer, and doing so gave us more flexibility with the standard adjustment wheel.

Second, the milk temperature sensor is pretty sensitive. Be careful cleaning around it, and avoid knocking it loose. Doing so bricks the entire machine, and it’s not a cheap/easy repair.

Other than that, enjoy! 3 years going strong with the Breville equivalent.
