Meatball and tomato sauce

    adapted from Gennaro Contaldo

    250g of mince pork
    250g of mince beef
    add tablespoon of olive oil
    salt and pepper
    1 egg
    handful some breadcrumb
    handful chopped parsley
    3 cloves of garlic
    3 tablespoon of Parmesan cheese
    mix well

    make into small-med balls size of a large marble ball
    dust with plain flour

    fry in pan for about 10 mins

    in a pot of sauce (previous bolognese sauce)
    carrots, onions, celery, tin of chopped onions, tomato passata
    cook sauce for 30mins

    add in meatballs simmer for 10mins

    serve with basil and cheese

    the parsley adds a nice fresh taste.

    have it with spaghetti or in a baguette.
