My loathing for Facebook is deep and intense, and I feel unclean for posting this, but nevertheless, it is the source for this image and this recipe:
More positively, seeing pancit here in this sub filled me with nostalgia for a job I once had, where I worked with these two lovely little Filipina ladies who would occasionally, for the benefit of the whole department, bring in a big tray of pancit luglug (which is this, but with shrimp and thicc rice noodles) and lumpia, Filipino spring rolls. It was so good and very much appreciated, because there was really nowhere near our building to get something to eat and I had to bring lunch pretty much every day.
Filipino food is great! (I ain’t touching balut, though.)
