Roast Beef Sandwich (1928) on Sandwiches of History You might see the name of today’s sandwich from the Delineator Home Institute’s Party Sandwiches pamphlet of 1928 and think it straightforward. From an ingredient standpoint, maybe? From a technique standpoint, nope. #fyp #sandwichesofhistory

Did you use deli roast beef, or did you roast a seasoned beef eye and slice it? Because the deli roast beef is going to be way salty before anything.
You can say that again!
I liked the video but i hate the idea of this sandwich
Probably the original recipe the roast beef was not salted. If the roast beef was from the deli counter it was either brined in salt or heavily salted and seasoned before roasting. So that may be possibly a reason why it was way too salty instead of just very salty.
