I need your help.
We have a mahlkonig x54 grinder for our decaf. This grinder was working fine, although it grinds a little course.
Two days ago, me and another trained Barista adjusted the burrs so it grinds a little finer. This has been amazing and our decaf has never tasted this nice.
Today i ran into a problem. I was grinding a dose of beans, and the grinder started making a sound as if there was a rock stuck. This also mentioned it started spitting out large chunks of beans instead of the finely ground ones.
After cleaning it works perfect again. I found no blockages nor damages in the grinder.
What happend? What could be the problem? And could this be a hazard?
