Leaf miners little fly larva that burrow in the leaves sometimes you can find them in the trail lines and just smash them I don’t think they cause lots of damage I’m not sure, if there’s enough they could maybe.

They’re leaf miners and you’re best off living with them. They rarely do substantial damage to an otherwise healthy tomato plant.

Yes, Leaf Miners. They do a real number on my dahlias, but tend to leave my tomatoes alone. I use Captain Jack’s Dead Bug Brew to control them.

Unless it gets really bad, I’d just leave em. Don’t think it’s worth eating pesticides over

Hate those things. They wreck my tomatoes, always chasing new grow while it kills everything lower and nothing blooms. pyrethrin

Find the end of the trail, and you’ll be able to see a little black bug inside. Use a toothpick to poke it out.
