2013 Puklus 5 Puttonoyos
Glassware is whatever but I’m not sure I know what to pour into. Just popped one. At $23 my expectations are that it tastes like a tokaji azu. It doesn’t have the apparent acidity that Royal Tokaji has. It’s got a very long lived minerally honey taste with dried apricots. There’s something like SE Asian spices faintly in it with a mellow ginger and lemongrass character. Canned Mandarin orange is also present and hides the acidity from reading mean. At this price I’m at bulk buy and at full price I’d be happy to drink it with friends.
