I usually go for more med-rare, but I’d eat that without a word.

First pic looks perfect to me. Last one looks more uneven color gradient. Was it tender?

Spice rub is burned and looks like it’s cut with a dull butter knife. Pretty spot on medium though.

Undercooked to my eye, but nice sear!

My only criticism is that the Kinders must have some kind of starch in it because it burnt and crusted on in a way similar to sugar/barbecue sauce. On steak that’s a no go for me. However. As far as actually cooking the steak I think it looks great. Next time try Montreal steak seasoning. Or I’ve graduated to a less is more approach with my steaks. I just do fresh cracked pepper. Pink salt. Garlic powder I sprinkle these on after rubbing my steaks liberally with olive oil. Let them sit for 15 min or so.

I’d eat it all up. If you like it then tweak it to your liking and repeat.

How is no one seeing a one-eyed little ET creature in picture one? He’s like the kid with cool haircut. Just me?

Looks great! You’d have zero complaints here. I love Costco steak, especially the prime cuts. My wife does a marinade and we soak overnight then let sit for just a short period while I prep the grill. I sear each side at high temps for 1-3 mins a side depending on thickness then drop heat and slow cook anywhere from 4-6 a side to maybe 8-10 if extra thick. I cook on propane because it’s stupid easy but need to replace as mine has finally died. Considering a treager or blackstone next

A little overdone for me, but I’d that is the way you like it…bravo!!!
