This is actually not Ratatouille but Confit Byaldi ! It has the same ingredients, but they are prepared very differently and the end results taste really different.
Ratatouille is more of a stew. I made Confit Byaldi once to see how it compares to actual Ratatouille (and because it looks pretty), and Ratatouille is definitely better in me eyes (or mouth I guess).

I think for the second half of cook time, you’re supposed to remove the lid/foil to concentrate the sause a bit.
