This bowl contains a traditionally prepared tonkatsu broth with pork belly strips. The noodles aren’t quite visible in this picture but it’s basic wheat noodles. What do you guys think ?

    ^(Beep boop, I am a bot)

Did you happen to mean [tonkotsu](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tonkotsu_ramen) instead of [tonkatsu](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tonkatsu)?

  2. Looks nice but Tonkatsu is defined by breaded deep-fried pork cutlets. Not seeing any here.

Mfers will spend 20 hrs making a soup but can’t be bothered to spend 2 seconds spell checking one

Maybe OP does in fact mean tonkatsu broth. Like, they made deep fried pork cutlets then boiled the hell outta them for 12 hours to get that rich brown hue. Maybe OP is on to something.

Of Maybe it’s time for my morning coffee.

Oops ! I meant Tonkotsu 🤦🏽‍♂️Apologies for the genuine mistake. I didn’t know that Tonkatsu and Tonkotsu meant two different thing

    Looks great OP!
Don’t let the smartasses get you down for a silly typo haha. How was the broth? I had tonkotsu only once in my life, in an Asian shop near my house, and it was very funky, kinda weird.

  7. Looks good! Really good for a first attempt. Where did the chashu go?

I want to scream every time I hear tonkatsu tonkotsu ramen

Putting the typo aside, looks pretty good! Not a huge fan of the beansprouts, but to each their own.
