My favorite brand of Chana Dal is no longer stocked at my local grocery store's Indian aisle so I thought I'd have a go at making my own. Turned out great!

Drained a can of chick peas and blended olive oil with finely diced ghost pepper, onion powder, white pepper, and Jamaican rice and peas seasoning.

Took about 30 minutes for the air frying to make them nice and crispy. Just the right amount of heat.

Turned out great!

30 minutes of air fried ghost pepper? I assume you have industrial grade ventilation!

  2. Nice, I was going similar a few months back to add crunch to my salad that wasn’t croutons and their carbs.

What temperature was used for the 30 minutes of air frying?

  4. Now, place the chickpeas into the blender, add some Tahini, blend, and voila! Super hot hummus!
