Used the ateco 60 piping tip with royal icing.

It is piped as the light pink colour then I used a brush and dusted on some petal dust for the darker pink. I love this effect because the petal dust grabs onto the icing and makes lines that look like those lines on a real rose!

Can you please share your royal icing recipe? I really want to get into piping different borders and flowers but I’ve been using buttercream and I don’t think it’s the right consistency I need. It doesn’t get semi crisp/hard after it’s piped like I see from so many bakeries’ and stores’ cakes, so I don’t really get clean shapes if any of that makes sense haha thank you in advance!! ☺️
