Jersey Mike’s all the way. The next good one is Publix. I’ll take any of their subs any day. It’s all about the bread.

While Jersey Mike’s is okay, they do not stand up to random NJ/Philly hoagie shops. Starting with cutting the roll in half, all the way through, they really don’t do it right. One should cut it most of the way thought, and then flatten it the roll and stuff it with meat and veg, using a long knife. They use cheap cold cuts and pretend its authentic. Plus, where I live the guys working there could give two shits about actually making a decent hoagie.
There have been a suspiciously high number of Jersey Mike’s posts on this sub. Its not that great.
