I’d say chocolate. Sweet, salty and savory, triple combo threat.

That’s balsamic glaze, not chocolate lol. They boiler balsamic vinegar with some sugar until the vinegar cooks out and leave sweet balsamic syrup

Agree with the balasamic reduction sauce. Super easy make. If you boil regular balsamic vinegar down and let it cool it enhances the flavor to a bitter sweetness. If it’s too bitter you can add sugars or add a sweeter fruit to the boil. Excellent on chicken too.

Guessing Balsamic, could be Teriyaki too. If you are buying it, get the “glaze” it is thicker.

Balsamic glaze. Easy enough to make with balsamic and other seasonings what I do is deglaze the plan with a blend of balsamic and beef stock plus garlic and some green herbs usually too until it is the right consistency then boom. Super flavorful, better than any steak sauce.
I love balsamic though and go through a lot of it.

Given the salad. It’s balsamic glaze/reduction.
Shpoople44
Clearly a balsamic glaze to pair the salad and the steak. You can buy it at the grocery store

Also incredibly hard to do it the right way

Probably balsamic reduction glaze? The ingredients look like arugula and butter leaf salad with maybe Parmesan shreds and some cherry tomato quarters on the outside? The steak may be a picanha med rare?

Balsamic glaze. It’s a holdover from 90’s era cuisine. I wish it would disappear completely.

brown?
But I agree with the other poster, a balsamic glaze seems like it would batch with the greens.

Most people have answered, but I’ll ad onto this. Dish is called tagliata di manzo. Served with rucola, cherry tomatoes, parmigiano reggiano, thinly sliced beef and balsamic reduction. Classic Italian dish, highly recommended.

Balsamic. Hot tip: throw in some onions and butter after you remove the steak. Add garlic, Dijon, and worcestershire sauce. Deglaze with balsamic. Add a bit of water and stock if needed. Enjoy over your steak and sides.
