Thanks for joining us on this easy shrimp and grits recipe video!
It’s so easy- I hope you enjoy it!

Recipe-
Grits
2 chicken stock or water with
Chicken bouillon
1/2 cup stone ground grits
1 cup cheese- any that you like
Bring water to a boil and then add grits and reduce heat. Simmer for 20-25 minutes until tender. Stir in cheese.

Shrimp-
1lb shrimp any size, peeled and deveined
4 slices bacon
1/2 cup chopped green onion
1 Tbsp Garlic (or more or less according to your taste)
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
Cook bacon until done & remove & chop.
Leave bacon grease in skillet add olive oil and add shrimp and garlic and cook stirring constantly. When shrimp are almost done throw in 1/4 cup green onions. Split grits between two bowls and top with shrimp and all juice.
Sprinkle bacon and green onions on top.

  6. I agree, I only use wildcaught domestic shrimp , big difference along with freshly grated cheese. loved your cooking video, I would also like the shrimp on top of polenta or pasta, thanks for sharing your recipe, I look forward to the next one!
