Yesterday I prepped the ingredients (and prepared a batch of curdito for the fermenting crock, and began the long prossess of aging black garlic).
Today set up a canning station on the deck.
Result was 5 quarts squash bean soup, 7 quarts butternut squash soup base, 6 pints pickled jalapeños.
Time well spent!
