Today I received my shipment and some sleeves were damaged and just wanted to post about what I did and my experience.
Initially I got an email that UPS would be delivering my shipment, and got the tracking email, but then on the second day after it arrived in my city, I noticed UPS handed the final delivery off to USPS. I was kind of concerned, because I’ve had shipments from USPS before, and a lot of times the packages have been damaged.
I picked the delivery up from my mailbox, and the outer box looked damaged; so I started taking pictures. Opened it up and noticed the torn sleeves, so then decided to inspect a number of sleeves. I found only 3 of them them look really bad as in the pictures, a number were slighty damaged but only on the sides. I took all the pictures for reference since I was gonna contact support about it.
I then later called support (24/7 in the US by the way), and the agent was nice and asked for account confirmation info. Then later asked about what was really damaged and details. Then later, she emailed me a link so we could do a live video check. Clicked the link and then used my camera to show all the damage as per the pictures above. She said the damage on the sides is not an issue (and I agree with this), but the three severely damaged one are potential issues (however I tried one of the Kahaya ya Congo damaged ones and it was fine). So she ended up giving me a $20 discount for use on my next order (which I’m very happy with).
So those of you reading this, keep in mind if this happens to you, just contact Nespresso support, and they should be able to provide some type of compensation.

Happened to me four or six times over ten years. I’ve always had success with customer service replacing any damaged goods. ONce I was asked to send a photo.
