Hey all,

Tried Simply Green, pressure washer, plastic scrapers, steel wool ball. I can’t get the cooked grease off. I’m getting fires when grilling burgers, and we don’t even grill that often!

So I thought maybe carefully use a razor. You can see where I did that in the top left of the box. But I stopped because I’m worried I’m peeling off some protective enamel or something. But the left side beside the burner doesn’t seem to have a black coating.

I’ve googled and YouTubed with very little success. Most suggest a plastic scraper but it does nothing. The owners manual says to scrape the box but doesn’t name tools.

So here I am humbly asking for help. I’ve heard the Dawn Power Wash is good.

Model is a Broil Mate

Scrape with a **Paint Stir Sticks.** Cheap, safe and effective. Otherwise that box looks clean enough
