There’s nothing like a good cup of coffee with donuts, but if you make them from home with a little scoop of custardy ice cream and it turns the whole world of coffee and donuts upside down! I hope you guys enjoy the recipe and please make sure to drop a comment if you did!

Ingredients:
Brown Butter Ice Cream:
4 egg yolks
2 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup sugar
8 oz butter, browned

Cake Dough/Batter:
1 whole egg
pinch of salt
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup milk
2 tbsp butter
2 cups ap flour

cinnamon sugar:
1/2 cup sugar
4 tbsp cinnamon, ground

  3. Please make clear that the ice-cream base needs to be cooled BEDORE it's placed in the freezer. Placing straight into the freeer hot is not a good idea for the freezer or any other food already in there. Other than that…. thanks!
