   Will disagree about the plates on this one. Shrimp/clam/crawfish/crab boil type places, it gets messy, you gotta use your hands with gloves on. They put an apron on you. And the best part is that it’s a long process to eat the whole thing. Which means that no one is going to be on their phones, or being distracted by other things. It’s actually a great experience.

   I have had it where they bring you the bag and put it in a bowl. I guess it’s good to keep the sauce from dripping everywhere, but then the bowl was cooling it off way too quick.

   I never understood why eating seashell cooked in a plastic bag and tossed directly on the table was a “thing”

   This is the 2nd post i’ve seen like this.

   It’s seafood. This is usually how it’s served since serving them on plates would actually be messier with all the shells and stuff.

   I’m just seeing a bunch of stuff that would put me into anaphylaxis, but even I understand that the way they are serving that is pretty standard.
