Lou Yau Kee at Urbanspace in Union Square. OMG folks, BEST I’ve ever had stateside. The meat is well seasoned and perfectly cooked. Rice and broth both amazing and so is the chili sauce.

[Lou Yau Kee is basically the same chicken as Hainan Jones in Urban Hawker.](https://ny.eater.com/2023/10/13/23889283/lou-yau-kee-hainan-chicken-rice-singapore-urban-hawker-food-hall)
The owner trained all the chefs at Hainan Joe and opened Lou Yau Kee after his contract with them expired.
I’ve had it as well. I think I got half roasted and half steamed. Very good.
My Singaporean friend took me there, love it.
I love this place. Plus being able to eat outdoors in the terrace really reminds me of SEA. I always order extra soup to takehome.
Reminds me of gai chicken and rice downtown
The sauces make it
Fun fact, Lou Yau Kee means a good old buddy
Ty for your service
